Long-Haired or Short-Haired

The decision to take a long-haired or short-haired cat may depend upon the breed you want. (See section Breeds and Registration)
In general, long-haired cats are reputed to be more docile. You may be a better judge of just how docile he is if you can observe his parents. Long-haired cats also are more showy, but they do require more attention from their owners to look their best. They require daily brushing and combing for good grooming while short-haired cats can be well-groomed with just a few minutes of brushing. |
