The Exotic Shorthair is a newer breed and one that appeals to lovers of both Longhair and Shorthair cats, for it was developed from both! The Exotic Shorthair combines the sturdy cobby body and massive head of the Persian with short, dense fur that is very soft in texture. In other words, it is a shorthaired Persian-type cat and with any of the Persian coat colors. This breed is the choice of many for a perfect pet, since he is easily groomed, quiet, intelligent and affectionate.
